This Privacy Policy explains how Statement to Sheets (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our bank statement conversion service (the “Service”).
Information we process
To convert your statements, we process the following:
- Uploaded files. The PDF bank statements you upload, and the text and transaction data extracted from them.
- Conversion metadata. Details such as file name, file size, page count, detected bank, statement period, and job status.
- Technical data. Basic logs needed to operate the Service and diagnose errors. We avoid logging the contents of your statements.
How we use your information
- To extract transactions and generate your CSV and Excel exports.
- To let you review and edit extracted data before download.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
Data retention
Uploaded PDFs are retained only as long as needed to process your conversion and are deleted automatically afterward (by default, within 24 hours). Generated exports are kept for a short period (by default, up to 7 days) so you can re-download them. We do not sell your data.
Security
Files are processed privately. We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and at rest in production, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party services
We rely on infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting and storage) to run the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, contact us at hello@statementtosheets.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
